The new 330-unit apartment complex will be built in Collin County
An Ohio apartment developer is building another rental community in Collin County.
Cleveland-based NRP Group is set to build the 330-unit Harvard Residences in Princeton. The nearly 400,000-square-foot site is at 596 N. Beauchamp Blvd.
The projected start date for the project is July 1, and the estimated construction costs are nearly $54 million. according to the documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Wednesday.
The units at Harvard Flats are expected to be completed in the summer of 2026 and the first units are expected to be available as early as the first quarter of 2026, NRP said Dallas Morning News.
This is not NRP Group's first project in Collin County. The Cleveland company is behind The Independence in McKinney and Princeton Crossinga workforce housing development in Princeton. Since 2011, NRP has developed more than 25 rental communities that have approximately 6,000 apartments in the D-FW area.
Collin County continues to be one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. Census estimates show that Collin County's population grew by more than 36,000 residents from July 2022 to July 2023. Only Harris County, Texas, saw its population increase more during the same period.
