Talented safety Wright hopes to have his best season yet as a senior – Big Country Preps

As a sophomore in 2022, Hayden Wright was a breakout star, breaking up nine passes in his first year as a starter to help Wylie to a 10-4 campaign.

Challenged by coach Clay Martin and his defensive staff to become more of a full safety last season, his coverage stats took a slight dip, but he still played a key role in the Bulldogs' run to the area round.

Now entering his final high school season, Wright is hoping for his best campaign yet. And Martin would be surprised, frankly, if he doesn't achieve that goal.
