Prosper staff Celina invites residents to the Parvin Street informational meeting

Residents in the Prosper and Celina area can attend a joint public information meeting to learn more about a joint project to widen Parvin Road, which runs through both communities.

In short

The informational meeting will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Aug. 27 at Christie Elementary located at 6505 Crutchfield Road, Aubrey and will offer residents a chance to review project materials, ask questions and leave comments , according to one Prosper news release.

Project details that will be available for residents to view include:

• Project drawings showing location and design
• Tentative construction schedules
• Proposed and alternative road alignment maps
• Preliminary map of environmental constraints

Order details

The project will reconstruct Parvin Road from FM 1385 to Dallas Parkway, according to the release. This would include widening the road from two lanes to a four-lane divided road and similar improvements such as

• Adding drainage structures
• Construction of street lighting
• The landscape
• Irrigation work
