Prosper ISD welcomes students for the 2024-25 school year

Prosper ISD returned to class for the 2024-25 school year August 13.

The district's 18th elementary school, Betty Jackson Elementary School, welcomed its first group of students this school year. Daniel L. Jones Middle School, PISD's fifth high school, also opened for the 2024-25 school year.

Keep in mind

Here are some important dates for PISD students:

• September 2-3: student holidays
• October 14-15 school holiday
• November 25-29, Thanksgiving break
• Dec. 23 – Jan. 6, winter break

Looking ahead

The circle is waiting to be opened four new campuses in the 2025-26 school year. This includes PISD's 19th and 20th elementary schools, its sixth middle school and a fourth secondary school.
