Oklahoma firefighter accused of recruiting minors in North Texas – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
An Oklahoma firefighter and paramedic was arrested in North Texas after investigators said he fell for a sex crime scheme in which he planned to meet and have sex with a teenage girl.
On Friday, October 25, 40-year-old David Villines of Denison, Texas, was booked into the Collin County Detention Facility following an online request for a minor charge.
According to the Collin County Sheriff's OfficeVillines tried to meet a minor he thought was a 15-year-old girl, but it was an undercover officer posing as the teen.
Investigators said Villines made comments during the online chat that indicated he intended to meet and engage in sexual activity. He then agreed to meet at a predetermined location, where police took him into custody.
