Multi-building distribution site coming to Plano
Plano was recently ranked as one of the best cities in the country to raise a family.

A total of 16 cities in Texas made the list.

A Florida-based commercial real estate firm appears to be starting construction on a multi-building distribution site in Plano after recently receiving approval for an economic development grant.
Orlando-based Foundry Commercial plans to begin work on two buildings at 2700 W. Plano Parkway next month and turn over both facilities in February 2026, according to planning documents filed with the state.
Construction of a 226,860-square-foot building is estimated to cost approximately $10.6 million, while work on a second 96,072-square-foot building is estimated to cost about $5.3 million, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation . TDLR records are preliminary and subject to change, but they provide an early indication of construction plans.
Dallas-based GSR Andrade Architects will serve as the design firm on the project, according to the filing.
The Plano City Council voted in June to award Foundry Commercial Holdings LP a $750,000 stimulus grant to redevelop a vacant 275,000-square-foot building at the same address.
