“Sex trafficking will not be tolerated in our community, and I would like to thank the Richardson Police Department for their quick response and rescue of this child,” Collin County DA Greg Willis said in a written statement.

Prosecutors allege that — in December 2022 — Evans met the girl in Atlanta, arranged for her to travel to Texas and picked her up at DFW International Airport before taking her to his apartment where she was attacked.

Court documents say Evans bought the 16-year-old underwear to “make her look and dress older so she could make money,” according to prosecutors. He also allegedly told the girl to call him “Daddy” or “SP” for “Skinny Pimp.”

The girl feared for her safety and contacted her mother in Georgia, and her mother contacted Richardson police, who located the girl and arrested Evans, prosecutors said.
