Frisco police investigate Wester High School student's mysterious disappearance after school

On Tuesday, August 13, the Frisco Police Department received a welfare report of a student from Wester High School. Due to the student's age, limited information has been released to the public.

Currently, the event is under investigation, while the authorities are working to clarify the circumstances of the event. The police department has been in contact with the student's family since last week and investigators, along with school resource officers, have spoken with the family on several occasions. A statement was also taken from the child involved.

One of the key aspects of the investigation is understanding why the student chose to leave the school campus after the bell rather than meet their scheduled ride home. At this time, Frisco PD has not uncovered any evidence suggesting criminal activity.

The Frisco Police Department emphasizes that they take such reports very seriously. Personnel from various units have devoted considerable time and effort to this investigation. If any information arises indicating a danger to the community, the department will immediately inform the public.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Frisco Police Department at (972) 292-6010. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411 (tip411) or using the Frisco PD mobile app.
