Collin County's drought conditions continue

The lack of precipitation has moved much of Collin County over the past week from “abnormally dry” to “moderate drought” conditions, according to drought.gov, the National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS) .

But a wet spring, with 9.41 inches above normal, helped make 2024 the 10th wettest of the last 130 years.
