Collin County voters will consider 7 primary runoff contests


The Democratic and Republican runoff primaries being held in Collin County will determine who will be on the ballot for a number of races during the Nov. 5 general election.

Early voting for the local election runoff began on May 20 and will continue until May 24. The regular election day for the primary runoff is May 28 Collin County Elections website.

The Democratic primary runoff election will affect only residents located in Texas Senate District 30, which includes parts of Frisco, Lewisville and Denton. The Republican primary runoff election has both countywide races and races that affect specific parts of the county.

Where to vote

Voters participating in the Republican primary runoff can vote at any Collin County polling place during early voting and on election day. Visit www.collincountytx.gov/elections for a complete list of polling places.

For those voting in the Democratic primary runoff race for State Senate District 30, four polling stations are available within the district boundaries. Polling stations include:

  • Collin County Elections, 2010 Redbud Blvd., Ste. 102, McKinney
  • Collin College Frisco Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd., Bldg. Yes, Frisco
  • Frisco Fire Station No. 8, 14700 Rolater Road, Frisco
