Collin County man becomes third million dollar winner at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant's 3 Months. 3 millionaires. the promotion

DURANT, Okla. (August 25, 2024) – Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant announced the third and final millionaire of the season early Sunday morning as part of the 2024 edition 3 months. 3 millionaires. Chandra G. of Collin County, Texas, was announced as the winner of the third $1 million summer grand prize drawing. He is one of three Rewards Club members who became instant millionaires after Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant gave away a total of $5.8 million this summer.

After moving from California to North Texas, Chandra, a software engineer, began bringing his family to Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant regularly.

“I came out tonight to win $1 million,” Chandra said. “I was really shocked and excited when my name was called. It's wonderful.”

The first winner of the summer was a 30-year-old woman from Collin County, Texas, who chose to remain anonymous. She and her husband plan to travel and pay off their recently purchased home with a portion of her earnings.

The second winner was Carl Stone of Trenton, Texas, who plans to use the winnings to help his children — two sons and a daughter — and three grandchildren. Stone, a general construction manager who is currently building housing additions in the North Texas area, is a longtime member of the Choctaw Rewards Club who has traveled to Durant to play since the Choctaw Bingo Hall opened more than 30 years ago. He also has ties to Choctaw Travel Plazas, where Stone decades ago was a technician who helped deliver and install some of the initial vending machines.

“I didn't think I would ever win, but then it did,” Stone said. “I felt very good that my name was called. I was never a millionaire. I feel very lucky.”
