A Collin County man has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography

An Anna man was arrested Thursday on charges of possession of child pornography to a child under 10, officials said.

According to the Collin County Sheriff's Office, investigators received a tip about someone uploading child pornography online, which led them to search Jacob Beckner's home. There, they found hundreds of photographs and videos of child pornography, a sheriff's release said.

Beckner's bond was set at $40,000. Anna is about 45 miles northeast of downtown Dallas.
